December 23, 2010 Updates
As you may have noticed, a month has past and I have neglected to post often. Hmm... actually, not a lot has happened. In my book, Revealing of the Identities, I have surpassed page 200. I think I'm on page 207... I do not have it with me currently. While I am waiting for one of my friends to finish reading it, I have started a new story, actually. Currently, I am on page 23... somewhere around there... This weekend, I wrote 22 pages, 11 on Friday, and 11 on Saturday and Sunday combined. I was rather proud of myself. Right now, I am sort of having a writer's block. That's why I haven't been writing for a while. I might want to mention that I have not given my new story a title just yet, but I do know what is going to happen very clearly, for it was already written out in my mind years ago. I just have to find out where and when to put parts and what order to put it in. That's why I'm having trouble. Well, au revoir for now!

November 14, 2010 Updates
As of now, I am on page 193. As I said before, I can't write a lot when school starts, except for on the weekends. Well, that's pretty much it. The notebook I am writing in is starting to run out of pages; I may have to get another one once it runs out... Bother...

Updates October 30, 2010
I'm pretty happy about this blog, so that's why I am blogging a lot. I won't be blogging this much when school starts again, in two days.
Well, I am on page 170, but I will most likely write more later. I feel very accomplished. Two days ago, I wrote nine pages, yesterday, I wrote eleven, and today, I have already written four, and will write more later. Yay!

Updates October 29, 2010
I am on page 166. Yay!!
Recently I have been writing at a fast pace, for I have lots of freetime due to the four day vacation from school. Also, my twin sister has been overly prompting me to write, write, write, so she can read it. Sadly, she is sick, so she has been unable to write a lot in her book. More later!

PS (I might want to mention that my twin sister is Belinda Marrisa [S. Sora])

Some time after the Beginning...
Sorry for inupdating. I had minor problems about not remembering my user name OR password.....
~Amanda Louis S. Sora
ANYWAY,
As you most likely don't, or possibly do, my twin sister is an author. She wrote the book, As Time Goes On... and finished it at the end of this summer. Currently, she is writing the prequel, A General named Cilin and the sequel, Conflicts in Time of the book she finished writing.
What you most likely don't know unless you are my sibling or parent is that I am writing a book too. named "The Revealing of the Identities" right now, I started writing it a little before the start of June. While writing it, my twin and I found out that our books were actually connected. Consequently, my book is the sequel of Conflicts in Time, which is the sequel of As Time Goes On... So pretty much, my book is the sequel of the sequel of her book. Interesting, huh?
By the way, my book takes place approximately ten years after the end of Conflicts in Time. The funny thing is that I am WAY further in my book than my sister is in her's because I started writing my book when she was still working on As Time Goes On.
At this moment, I am on page 146. And the page number doesn't include the character pages, page of contents, dedication page, etc, or introduction (which I saved a few pages for to write later on) My character pages is loooong, possibly even longer than my sister's, and she has a LOT of characters (over seventy).
My sister and I worked on finding out all of the angles of how our books are connected. Because my book takes place fifteen years before the start of Conflicts in Time she has to mention my places and people off-handedly. Her book even starts as one of my characters telling a story (the book) to his son. So if you read her book, remember their names.
I write my stories a little differently than my sister. Usually, she plans out the whole book before she writes it (that's what she did for the six parts in As Time Goes On). I just go along with what's happening and write whatever pops into my mind at my moment.
One confusing thing for me in my book is to decide who was to be my protagonist, or main character. In the beginning, I had only one idea for my book. Two brothers and their names. That's it. I gave one of the brother's a best friend and made him my main character. Then all of a sudden, the best friend had a sister that lived in a different place. So, I had to create lotsa characters for the two places. Then, I realized this, then found out that, then this and that. It's all confusing. Right now there are four kingdoms in my book, not including the three kingdoms that are weeks away (they are from my sister's Conflicts in Time book.)
The main idea at this point is that there are lots of mistaken identities and secrets that only few know about who they are and where they came from. One person is related to someone, but neither of them know that. Many people come from different backgrounds and places, but they all come together in the two main kingdoms, PheƤreys (Fair-Ace or Ferr-Ace- however you want to pronouce it) and Taryel and the near-by forest inhabited by an abundance of bandits.
To sum it up, my book is a complex form of people who find out the identities of others throughout the book.
So, I have to wrap this up. My sister, who is watching over my shoulder, doesn't want me to give away to much. By the way, as mentioned before, if you want to, you can visit my sister's blog that gives her updates on her books. The URL is mentioned in the comment page of my first post (The Beginning).
Adios! Chiao! Mahalo! See you later!!! And hopefully, I'll be able to remember my user name/password things so I can blog again.
