May 27, 2014 Updates

Nothing happened much in Camp Nano. AP tests were around the corner, and life just got busy, so I was only able to write about 6500 words total haha. On the bright side, the seniors all graduated, so it's just me and my sis in the CC Eng course. Our teacher is letting us work on our novels, so I chose to work on the continuation of BtM, finally. Was able to write a page or so today, huzzah :D Get to introduce two new characters, which is yay as well! Cheers to a fun last two weeks of school!

March 22, 2014 Updates

Well, Camp Nanowrimo is just around the corner, so hopefully I can use that to actually start writing again. It's a shame, really. I haven't had the motivation to write for a month or so (haven't even looked at my books since last update). So yeah, I'm depending on the Camp here for the jumpstart again :)

February 24, 2014 Updates

Finished updating SSChron Parts 1 and 2! Only about a month later than I wanted to.. haha. But huzzah anyway. Now, to continue writing part 1 or part 2? That is the question..

February 19, 2014 Updates

Haven't been writing much in the past two and a half weeks. My parents went overseas for two weeks, so I was busy trying to stay alive :D And because we had house-sitters over, I tried to hang out with them versus staying in front of my computer all day, so I didn't really have an opportunity to write anyway. As a side comment, I stored all my books and extras in wattpad as drafts, just in case there's a fire at school, and I don't have time to take my computer or jumpdrive with me.. or something like that haha. But yeah. I need to start writing again– hopefully that'll make my life happier

February 1, 2014 Updates

February Fools! Ha. Anyway, moving on. Last month, my goal was to finish editing what I have so far in SSChron Parts 1 and 2, buuuut I didn't quite get to that. As I mentioned in the previous post, I published parts of BtM on wattpad.com. If you haven't checked it out yet, please do! As of now, everything completed (chapter-wise) is on the site. Half of them are only drafts; I'll probably be publishing them all within this week or the next. So yeah, I finished editing all of BtM, and getting rid of my excess 'quickly' and 'stated' words. Never noticed before, but yeah, I use those words at least 2 or 3 times per page :p. In terms of SSChron, I'm on page 318, which is halfway through the Herlith arc. So, a little less than halfway completely edited. I'm fine with that, though, since I was able to work on BtM. I wonder when I'll continue writing that one. I haven't written anything new for a year and a couple months. I just need to polish a few ideas, and then I'll get it going again. That's about it, though.

January 14, 2014 Updates

It's finals week! So I won't be doing much. I worked on editing over the weekend, though, and will probably continue to do so this following weekend when finals are over. yay. Right now I'm editing page 153, which isn't terrible bad, but not super duper either. Cya after finals!

January 4, 2014 Updates

First off, Happy New Years! Yay. Anyway, it's the anniversary of my novel SSChron, which I started on midnight of last year :) So happy birthday bookie!! Haven't been doing much recently. Last month I was busy with Christmas and traveling down to Kansas City, MO, for the annual Onething conference. Came back a couple days ago. Fingers crossed Monday is a cold day-- supposedly with wind chill factor, it can get as low as -50ºF. Hoo, that's cold.

Anyway. I'm looking over SSChron once again, editing and all that fun stuff. After the writing convention I went to that I mentioned in the last post, I started thinking about ways I can make my writing stronger and less rambly. So I'm taking out tons of thought bubbles and unnecessary words and all that fun stuff. Hopefully I end up with a prettier end product. I've only edited a little bit, but I'm happy with what I have so far. :) That's about it for now! My sister and I want to have a Janowrimo Pagowrimo this month, in which we write x amount of pages per day. We're aiming for just two pages just so we can get back in the groove. If that's going well, we'll do more, possibly.

Oh, and I also started compiling CD into a website, just for fun. I'm not going to publish it or anything--just look at it and smile ^_^

And I also noticed that since about July, I haven't really progressed in SSChron. A pity school gets in the way, huh? Well, that's all I have to say. Ciao~
