Working on the in chapter 7 thing for TBF right now. On page 14 and everything is going smoothly. I'm enjoying the 'new' characters rather much though, as is my sister. Still wondering whether or not it should be in the book or be in a separate short story. That's about it!!

August 18, 2012 Updates

Hello. I'm on page 125 for TBF, starting chapter seven. I'm also working on the side story of TBF that's in the middle of chapter seven that might or might not be in TBF, depending on how long it is and so forth. Right now, I'm on page 8. It's always interesting to combine stories. :) My sister and I talked about what was on "the other side of the mountains" for a while in our world, and I decided to 'combine' our two worlds together except slightly different. So yeah, you probably don't know what I'm talking about but whatever. That's about it for now. Oh yeah, I re-read ROI just for the fun of it to see if it needed more editing. I mainly edited the spelling and grammar, adding a few sentences here and there. It's actually not to bad after re-reading it. More later. I'm playing Palace with my siblings...

August 12, 2012 Updates

I'm having a slight writer's block right now--surprise, surprise.. I'm on page 113, near the beginning of chapter six. I feel like the pace has slowed down slightly with not too much action but mostly conversation. Hm. I'm trying to think of something interesting to happen in the meanwhile. That's about it for now. August 9, 2012 Updates

I've written 5 more pages in TBF and planned out the rest of the book, which is always nice :) I never do that, but now I can look forward to writing certain chapters and whatnot. Based on my approximations, it will be anywhere from 14-17 chapters, depending on how long each section sill take to write ie. conversations (those can take up a lot a pages, really. And I mean really.) I'm thinking of actually giving the chapters titles instead of numbers for once. What do you think? I can think of a few at the top of my head for some chapters. This book, unlike other ones, is actually pretty well organized, ending chapters after minor/major endings. I'll think about that later. Oh yeah, so I'm on page 101, counting the title page and contents page. Word count: 37, 507. Not too much, not too little. I'm rather pleased with this book, actually. There isn't excessive conversation compared to... well, WOC (I need to edit that some time or later). If course, there are some editing I could do to TBF, but that'll be after I finish it. :)

August 8, 2012 Updates

Hello! I've finally started writing To Be Found yesterday. I put it into .doc format, in 1.5 spacing, 12 times new roman font, etc etc. It's 95 pages right now; I wrote about 20 in the past two days. Yay, finally out of writer's block. Just ended chapter four and started chapter five. That's it for now. Oh yes, and I finally downloaded Microsoft word .doc onto my computer. For some reason, it doesn't accept .docx, but that's okay. Bye bye.

Nothing since last week. Ahem, :) Still waiting to get Microsoft softwares on my cpu. Maybe I'll start writing them, heh. My apologies, all you waiting people (no one, I suppose... except my sister maybe..) :D

Since last post, I've written nothing. I'm planning on picking up writing again soon, if that counts for anything. :) I'm just mostly trying to get my sister to start writing instead of writing myself, haha. Well, that's it it!

July 6, 2012 Updates

Hello. Um, nothing much to say right now. I recently got a new computer and am trying to transfer some files onto it (I was using a family desktop computer for stuff before, as well as my sis's cpu) but my computer doesn't have Microsoft so... haha, yeah, I can't open up any of my book files. But, DO NOT WORRY, my fellow mates! Sometime or later, I'll start writing again! Other than what I just did, I went back to my newly revised ROI and did a once over read to see if it flowed somewhat well. It was slightly disappointing because I felt some parts didn't get to me well enough, so I switched around a couple of things in the beginning, such as conversations between two main characters. Hopefully that'll make it a little better. I'll be working some more on ROI, obviously. (I've been working on it for a while, huh. It's been about a year and a half since I finished writing the unofficial one in 8th grade. Ever since, I've been gradually rewriting it.. but at least it's getting better). I also did a readover of WOC--I think it's pretty close to being finished, being around 270 pages long. Of course, I'll have to edit it to make it in correct perspective. I did a little of editing and am in the part where certain individuals all meet up together in that certain kingdom in the East.. (ahem, trying to be a bit discrete so if you ever read it, I'm not giving anything away, haha..) That's about it. I also read over J's P. I don't know if I mentioned this yet, but I gave it a name- To Be Found, or TBF for short. (You know I like abbreviating things to make it easier for me). Of course, I didn't work on anything with RoPT. I don't WANNA transfer words on notebook to computer. WHINE WHINE!!!! Anyway, it's still uncompleted, but my sis says that I can wrap it up pretty easily. I think it might be completed soon as well. It's going to be shorter than the other ones. It was just meant to be a transition between my two books-- saying what happens in between because if I don't, everyone will be confused to why people did certain things, don't you think? So yeah. Originally, if I was going with my original plan, I would have only been a little past a third way through, but I decided I don't need to write what I was planning on writing since it isn't necessarily needed (as it will be explained later on in my third book). So yeah. The end.

May 8, 2012 Updates

Finished editing ROI... finally. Officially finished unless I want to reedit it for publication or whatnot. Without all the appendix stuff, it's 196 pages long with 70,001 words. With the Appendix (author's note, short stories, preview of RoPT) it's 221 pages and 78,678 words long. So...it's a decent length--about 50 pages shorter than the first edition, after cutting out and adding whatnot. Moving on to RoPT now. I actually am renaming RoPT to just PT (Passing Time). I've never actually finished writing it in notebook, nor have I completely transferred the writing to computer, so this might take a little while longer. I plan on splitting it up in three parts, so I'm going to be condensing what I've written into one part, and having the five years later part be part two and so forth. More later. Oh, and I've titled J's P into To Be Found. That's it for now.

May 7, 2012 Updates

Working on editing ROI. It's going rather smoothly- just swimming through it. I'm on page 178 (which is around page 230 in old draft- I cut out quite a lot of unnecessary conversations and parts). I'm hoping to finish it by the end of the week, but we'll see. Oh, and I finished the play for my class- it's exactly 30 pages long (that's the maximum limit my teacher gave me). I thought it went pretty well.. Not a lot of pages for seeing character development, but I managed to do some.

April 18, 2012 Updates

Well, I haven't written much lately, not a big surprise there. In an online class, I'm starting to write a 12-15 page play, so I decided to write it on a plot surrounding a character from one of my characters from ROI. It's going to be interesting, writing in play format instead of book format, but I think I'm going to enjoy it. I already know the plot- there are going to be 6 scenes and an epilogue, with 7 characters with names (2 are bunched together because they're children). Looking forward to it! :) With SQ, my sister and I haven't really been writing it too much. I've thought over editing the scenes we've written, so we're probably going to change chapter two sooner or later. In my spare time, I'm drawing the characters, just for fun. Some end up very nicely, some only okay. That's about it for now. Oh, if you haven't noticed, I switched the administrator person to moi. I'm still the same person, but a different email that I use more often. So yeah. Bye now.

April 13, 2012 Updates

Haven't written much recently- homework and starting driver's ed class, etc has taken up some time. Working on editing ROI once more (from the beginning). Finished chapter one and began chapter two a couple of days ago, 11 pages in total or something like that. I did some major cutting, losing about 10+ pages in just the fist chapter bit and a little in chapter two, but that's okay, because the part I cut out wasn't that important to the plot. That's about it. SQ isn't going along brilliantly as well, but it's not the main priority, so that's okay. We've come up with a brilliant plot scene for the second part in the book, or maybe the second book, depending on how long part one is going to be. More later.

March 31, 2012 Updates

Welllllll..... I'm not sure what else to say but oops! I haven't written much at all, I think. Anyway, recently or not very recently but somewhat recently, my sister and I are discussing options of what to do after the series is finished and decided with much consideration that there is going to be a sequel series. Exciting, huh? We briefly discussed the characters in them, and don't you worry, there is going to be less than usual. :) That's all I'll say. I'm rather pleased with my characters, actually, and am looking forward to writing it. But first things first, we have to finish THIS series first. And we have to conclude some details before starting it so we know everything will make sense. I hope you readers out there (Hmm... there are, what? ONE person out there who reads this aka my sister? Or five? The rest of my family? Or something like that? *makes a face*) Anyway, I hope you readers out there will look forward to it with much anticipation! :)

Actually, I didn't write much recently. I wrote some in ROI yesterday and J'sP and some more in J's P today. (Bad grammar, I know, but deal with it). So I'm on page 134 with 48389 words in ROI and page 74 with 26321 words in J'sP. Tada! The end.

February 29, 2012 Updates

First of all, Happy Magical Day! :) Anyway, down to business... I just finished chapter one of J's perspective. I still need to think of a name for it... Anyway, I am on page 52 with 18,134 words (the pages including a title and contents page). So yeah, I'm going pretty fast paced, in my opinion. That's about it for now. I just wrote the words "Chapter Two" in. More specifically, it's written as "CHAPTER TWO" :) Well, that's about it!

February 26, 2012 Updates

Well, it's been about a week since my last update. For ROI, RPT, and WOC, I haven't had process. Actually, I think I didn't write anything at all. But anyway, my twin sister have discussed together, and we think we MAY do a sequel of the series. It'll be interesting, but in order to do it, we'll have to sacrifice some things, so we'll see if we can pull it off or not... I think we may. *smirk* Additionally, I started writing the spin off story of B's AS book she wrote last year, except it's from the perspective of one of the characters that are mine. It'll be fun writing it, I think. I have some ideas about it and have written about a page and a half so far. I don't have a name for it yet, so I just call it J'sP. Hopefully, after writing some of it, my writer's block for the other books will end, and I can get back to editing ROI and so forth. That's about it.

Wrote a little in ROI. On page 127 with 46005 words. Starting to head towards the "climax" of the book. That's about it.

February 13, 2012 Updates

I'm currently at a writer's block right now, but I did some work last week and maybe a page today. So, I'm on page 119, with 43403 words in ROI. Oh yeah, I've changed it to 1.5 spacing, if you're wondering why there was such a major page number increase from last post. Come to think of it, a few weeks ago, I did write a lot. Hm.

I'm thinking of starting editing WOC if I stay in the writer's block for a while longer, in order to get moving on. Um... that's about it, I think.

I haven't written anything for RoPT obviously- that's sort of the least in my priorities, and I'm having major writer's block for it anyway. Oh, I'm thinking of changing the title of RoPT or changing the whole perspective on it since the title doesn't really make that much sense. So we'll see about that. Other than that, I'm doing well, thank you. :)

January 25, 2012 Updates

I'm on a roll! Haha, just kidding. Anyway, I'm not having a lot of progress, but right now, I'm on page 52, single spaced as usual and am having some writer's block. That's about it. I probably won't be updating for some time since I have tournaments to attend, etc. So there you go!

January 23, 2012 Updates

Still single-spaced, I'm on page 52 in my edited version of ROI (intro and book only, like last time). I only wrote about three pages today- not too much progress. I realized that from where I am, I'm going to have to start writing a lot of new things because from that point onwards, I start drifting towards minor characters' perspectives. So that will be a challenge. I'll keep you updated in the meanwhile.

January 21, 2012 Updates

Well, hello there!

Long time no see, eh? Well, as promised, I'm going to be updating more than once this month, unlike the 1 update per month thing I seem to have been doing lately. As I said in my last post, I'm editing my book ROI and am realizing that I will have to do that with my other two books as well. Single spaced, the book is about 45 pages, not including the title page, dedication, etc, and including the introduction and what I've written so far. I'm not sure why I'm keeping it single spaced right now; I'll probably change it to 1.5 sooner or later. I'm in the beginning of chapter 3. It's rather interesting writing it from only two peoples' perspectives. You readers get to learn much more about their private lives and family relationships, friendships, etc. So yeah. That's about it. I haven't written anything in WOC or RoPT lately, and frankly, I won't be going there for a bit. That's it for now!

January 15, 2012 Updates

Well, as I said I would in my last post, I am 'majorly' editing my books. I'm starting with the completed one, ROI. :) Pretty much, I'm changing every section so it is in the main characters' perspectives. I have finished doing that for the first two chapters of ROI. When I started, the main character was one certain person, but by the ending, it somehow had switched to someone else (his best friend), who is more important to the overall plot. Since they're best friends, it wasn't too difficult to change the perspectives. For many parts, they're together, so I only had to edit the parts in which they split up to do their own things. Luckily, the new main character usually said where he was going in one of his conversations with his best bud. So yeah. That's what I have been doing in my spare time, which isn't often. I think I have written maybe a couple of new sections in WOC, but nothing major. And I haven't typed up any new pats for RoPT. Big wup. So there you go, the updates for January 15, 2012. More later, hopefully soon.

January 6, 2012 Updates

It's been almost exactly a month since last update! For those who actually read this, Happy New Years and welcome to 2012! Anyway, I haven't been doing much these past 4 weeks, which is why I haven't updated much. In WOC, I'm on page 279 or maybe 280. A few days ago, I stared typing up RoPT again. I'm on page 19. I know, impressive (that's sarcasm). Anyway, that's it for now. Oh, and I've written most of the "preview to RoPT," which will be in the appendix of ROI. I need my sister to help me write the first part since her character is in a conversation with one of mine (we made a 'rule' that if one of our characters are in the other person's books, we get to voice out what they say, do, etc.). It's about 9 pages long. I'm thinking of rewriting all three books slightly so that most of the parts are in the protagonists POV instead of many other characters. We'll see how that goes. Because if I don't do that, the readers will most likely be confused about who the main characters are since they see many characters' points of views, not just the main characters. So that's the update for today and most likely this week or month. Until then.
